The best words of all

Sofia has been uttering a few choice phrases lately. But late last week she said words I will remember forever.

"I love you, Sofia," I said as we played in the living room.

"I love you too," she replied.

Just like her first smile at me was the best smile I'll ever see, just like the first time she kissed me on the cheek was the best kiss I'll ever get, that little sentence in that little voice was the best thing I'll ever hear.
